The best Popkick creations are from well-lit, high contrast photos, especially those with large, well-defined shapes.

All kinds of photos that meet the above criteria work well, including those of people, objects, and landscapes. Play with all kinds of mediums including photos, sketches, drawings, or silhouettes to find what suits you best. Save a filtered image and then filter it again to get even more interesting results.
You can save your image in Small, Medium, and Large sizes. The actual dimensions for each size type vary depending on how old your device is and its memory capabilities. iPhone 5+, iPad 2, iPad 3+ devices can save up to 7.2 MegaPixels (up to 3180 px on one side depending on the aspect ratio of the image). While iPhone 4/4S, iPad Mini, and iPods, can save up to 3 MegaPixel files (up to 2100px on one side depending on the aspect ratio of the image). We are continually working on bringing larger dimensions to the app so stay tuned.
Popkick's Pop Art filters look best when viewed on a large screen. Since the iPhone is relatively small, even with retina display, we recommend posting the final iPhone camera artwork to either a social network or emailing it in large format so you can view it in its full detailed beauty, on a desktop where images naturally look their best.
